Processing Partnerships Partnering with SCENZA provides cost and efficiency advantages where regular and scheduled extraction processes are required. SCENZA currently has four long term partnerships in the cosmetic, fruit, meat and nutraceutical industries. As a subsidiary of a small public company we are well placed to assist product development which may follow our extraction process. An example of this is the current development of a product for the alleviation of malaria using a herbal extract.

What is Supercritical Fluid Extraction?

It is a method of extracting essential oils and other ingredients from organic matter using a highly efficient, highly effective and environmentally friendly process. Using a supercritical fluid (liquid carbon dioxide) at room temperatures does not compromise the purity of the extracted product, nor are the byproducts harmful to the environment as they are with alternative solvent-based extraction methods.
